Day 2 & 3, CERAWeek, a key organizer told me that there are 12,000 attendees, 900 companies, and at peak, 19 simultaneous presentations. That leaves me around 1.5 minutes at each presentation if I run between the four floors and two venues. First day of CERAWeek started with a bang, in fact a series of bangs, but none of them were at the conference. We have TSA lines, air crashes, Port Arthur refinery (395kb/d and shut, thankfully with no reported injuries), the biggest refinery of the biggest US independent refiner Valero, seeing its distillate hydrotreater blowing up. Goodness me, TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome), indeed. I’m not talking about my own psychology. This “ahead of schedule” Gulf War III is going horribly ahead of schedule in the completely wrong direction. For an example of a total opposite effect, Iran flipping a ballistic missile at Diego Garcia did not fit with the original “Iran will quickly will run out of missiles”.
