Good day, We dropped a weekly video “Global Oil Risk” from London Friday and shortly thereafter did a podcast for “Mr 30m Downloads” Jack Farley, returning a favour for him being a guest on Happy Hour this week, especially as we buried him with a Rosh Hashanah-diminished crowd (ie Thursday’s Happy Hour very quiet, mid-Rosh). Today, brief comments on the FT report that OPEC is looking to increase production in December. My major thought is that the FT reporter is relatively new to OPEC, and I do not know him personally (Tom Nelson). There is a clunky first line reference to “unofficial $100/bbl price target” which rattles us, as we explain in this note.
